Cashback is not a price

British comparison is addicted to a second price: the one you get if you click the right biscuit, fill a form in 61 days, and do not return the product. Cashback built a generation of ‘deals’ that were ordinary tariffs with a scavenger hunt attached. Sometimes the hunt pays. Often it is how a mediocre line wins a table. We would rather show you the standing order. You can still chase the biscuit afterwards, with a calendar.

Two contracts

The ISP bill is one. The cashback site is another, with its own disputes, excluded ISPs, and ‘tracked click’ folklore. When the biscuit fails, neither wants to be the adult.

If the line is the right line, the biscuit is a bonus. If the biscuit is why you chose a worse line, you bought a form.

How we rank

Year-one billed cost, including known pounds rises, setup, and the line you can actually get. Optional cashback sits in a note, not in the sort.

That will make some tables look less exciting. Exciting is how people stay on the wrong plant for a £50 voucher.

Screenshot the confirmation, diary the window, use the same browser folklore they demand, and do not cancel inside any clawback period without reading.

When it lands, good. When it does not, the ranking you used is still honest. That is the point.

A voucher is a side quest. A standing order is a line.

We will not pretend a form is a tariff. Claim the biscuit if you like. Choose the line as if the biscuit will never land — because sometimes it will not.
